Cooking Frozen Pierogi

1. Keep pierogies frozen until you are ready to prepare them (they have not yet been boiled).

2. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, put the pierogies in and boil until they float (approx. 3 mins).
-Note: if you have purchased meat-filled pierogies, boil the water more gently as they tend to be more fragile.

3. Remove pierogies immediately from the water, pan fry in some oil (with butter!) until they are lightly browned on both sides.

4. Sauce your pierogies and enjoy!

Preparing Cheese Sauce:

1. Keep your cheese sauce refrigerated until use – it can be frozen but must be defrosted first.

2. Add some milk or cream into a small sauce pan and heat on low.

3. Scoop in the sauce and stir frequently, continue to have it on low to medium heat until it has turned into a creamy cheese sauce.

4. Sauce your pierogies and enjoy!
